It's the most wonderful time of the year! Sassy Cheryl's show me Thursday!

As always it has been a hectic holiday season. We were so lucky last weekend to have all of the grands at our house. No parents...so a good time was had by all. I finally came up with an idea for the Christmas cards. I had put vinyl on my steps and loved the look and the kids thought that would be a good spot for the card photo shoot...many takes later and lots of laughs...we got it! Thank you to my beautiful models...love you all to the moon and back!

Gobble Gobble...Sassy Cheryl Challenge...All about Boys!

Good Morning all.  I hope everyone is safe and sound and enjoying this beautiful fall day.
I worked on this card last night while watching election results.
I love all of Sassy Cheryl 's images...but I have to say the new fall images she has come up with are ADORABLE!
I made a step card for this challenge...no matter how many of those I make I seem to struggle with it.  They are not enjoyable for me to make..all the folds and cuts....but they are so stinkin cute after they are finished.
Besides the cute sassy image...I cut the pumpkins and tree from the Creative Memories Cart...Cheerful Seasons.
Please enjoy and stop back soon...

Pumpkin Patch

Happy Wednesday! I have had quite a productive day. Couldn't sleep last night so I scrapped until late...then got up this morning and did a few more pages. This one was one of my favorites! Cute pics of my youngest granddaughter at the patch.
I made the pumpkins from the creative memories cartridge...Cheerful Seasons. It has lots of great cuts on it and I loved the pumpkin. Cute and not too detailed so it didn't take long to do.
Have a great day...and thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Time! Show me Thursday!

I do not know where this month has gone...or the whole year for that matter, but I realized it was time to get busy with some Halloween ideas.
I got the new Cricut cartridge Artiste from Close to my Heart....and I love it. It has some really cute 3D boxes and bags that are super easy. Had lots of fun using scraps and making some great little Halloween favors. Enjoy and happy fall!

It's been a while...challange #112

Good morning...and I know it has been a while.  It has been a super busy spring time and I just have not taken the time to post any of my crafting.  A trip to Disney has given me hundreds of pictures to scrap, so I have lots to do.
Today I am sharing a card I did using one of Sassy Cheryl's new images.  All of her new spring images are so adorable and I love this little cutie with her big umbrella.
Thanks for stopping by today and I will post some Disney layouts when I get some finished up.
Have a great day!

baby bucket!

Another Baby bucket done and in the mail. I love doing these for new babies...but they do take a little time. This one is for a good friend of mine for her new granddaughter. I hope she likes it.
I had a hard time finding white paint cans...so this one is from Lowes and it is a silver paint can. It works fine...but the lid is a little different. All done though.
I used Kate's ABC's Cartridge for all of the little girl things.
Thanks for stopping by...come back soon!

Ladybugs everywhere! Sassy challenge #103

Hey everyone...This week's challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's was No Embossing...not hard for me...cause I tend to forget to use all the cute folders I have. Anyway...I had a great time with this one. Miss Linda taught all of us at card club to do these cute and easy boxes. Of course, after I got home I had to make a few more and fill them with some note cards.
I love this image of Cheryl's and used Callie and her ladybugs...along with the accessories (flower and ladybug) to make some simple little note cards.
Thanks for stopping by and please come see me again. I love hearing from you all..so be sure and leave me a note.
Blessings...

Show me Thursday...

Good morning crafty friends. I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. It feels like spring here. I am sure we are not done with winter yet...but this little taste of spring is wonderful!
Time once again to take a peek at what is going on in every ones "happy place" and seeing what they are up to. Show me Thursday....is happening over at Sassy Cheryl's. It is that time of the week when y'all can snoop and see if every one else's crafty spot is as messy as yours! I will admit I usually do a little cleaning before I take that picture, cause my space is always a "hot mess".
I have had a busy week scrapping and doing a few cards. I love all the new images of Sassy Cheryl's. I can't wait to start on some Valentine cards.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you all have a great day!

Birthday Girl...

Kinsly's three! We had just a little celebration for her at Grandma's house...I made a little cake decoration on my Cricut. Used it on her cake then saved it to use on this layout.
That is recycling!
Thanks for checking it out!

The Sprinkled with Fun is from the Sweet Treats Cartridge....and the cutout cookies are from the Gingerbread Cartridge.

3 new layouts!

Sydney and her Chickens....she has become such a farm girl!

Deegan and Kinsley's trip to see Santa...They do believe!

Sydney and I always do Christmas cutout cookies....she was worried that since they lived 4 hours away from me that we would not get to do our cookies. I took everything up to North Carolina and we did our cookies!

Hi all...wanted to post some easy layouts I did this week. My main focus this week has been to get pictures on pages. I didn't do a lot of detail work on any of these....but I do love that I have them done. I will do a little journaling on them later...but for now they are in the books.
Thanks for stopping by....
Hope to see you soon!

Show me Thursday...

Hey all...Sassy Cheryl is hosting another "Nosey Thursday". I love it. It gives us all a chance to peek in on every ones crafting area and see what's up.
I have had a good week crafting. I cleaned on Wednesday morning and messed it up Wednesday afternoon. That's always fun. I scrapped 4...yes 4 layouts on Thursday and started a Flap book for me. I made 12 Flap books for different friends for Christmas and I decided I needed to do mine or it would get put on the back burner and never get done. So...that being said, it is at least started.
Enjoy taking a peek at my "Happy Place" and be sure and check out my layouts that I finished.
Have a blessed weekend!

Christmas Ride!

It was a perfect evening for the annual Christmas boat parade. Clear and cold...but Deegan and Kinner didn't seem to mind....nor did Grandpa. They had so much fun decorating the boat then taking it out for a ride. They were both bundled up and Kinner fell asleep before we got back home.
Such wonderful memories...that is why I scrap.
I used Tis the Season Cartridge from Creative Memories...it is a great cartridge. Papers all came from Recollections paper pad. Naughty or Nice. Love that paper pack. It has a little glitz on the pages.
Thanks for the visit,
Betty

Tis the Season

Had so much fun doing this layout of Kinner. Just a few days before Christmas she spent the day with us...and we enjoyed her so much. She is such a fun age and full of energy....not to mention she is pretty darn cute!
Thanks for stopping by...see you soon.

It's been too long!

Hello crafty friends and Happy New Year. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Season and a Happy and safe New Year. Ours was great, but as much as I love it...I was ready to get back to normal. We had lots of company and family during the holidays and it was so fun and we ate! We made a quick trip to Indiana to get together with friends for a Boiler game...we ate. We ran to Charleston for a day to spend with Emily...we ate. Do you see a pattern here....we have eaten the past two months and that has got to stop!
Anyway...the Christmas decorations are put away for another year and the house is treat free! I finally threw away all the rest of the goodies so I did not feel the need to eat them!
SO...yesterday I finally got into my scrap room and cleaned yesterday morning....and messed it up in the afternoon. It was a great day. I did two layouts and had a fun time doing them. I thought I better get something posted before some of you send out a search party for me.
Thanks for stopping by....see you all soon.
