Easter Treat Bag & card

Good morning and thanks for stopping by....I do love Easter and all the spring things that come with it. I love all the pastel colors, cute little bunnies, chicks, and eggs that are so fun to use in our paper crafts. Well...and not to mention I do love the Marshmallow Bunnies that come around this time of year.

This is my very first post for the New Artful Legacy Design Team. I am super excited to get started using some of the beautiful stamps that Buck and Christine design.

I am starting out using one of my very favorite stamps of theirs....the sign post.

This stamp is so versatile and so fun to use. It not only has 4 cute Easter sayings, but it has a bunch of wonderful summer/beach sayings. I am hoping Christine will keep adding sayings to that little sign post!

For my Easter Treat sack I used a small brown paper bag...and covered it with plaid paper on both sides. I used my Creative Memories oval cutter to make my oval window. I just cut through one side of the bag and used a piece of clear film to make my window. My bunny peeking out is cut at 2 1/2 inches from Doodlecharms cartridge and my trusty Cricut. (how did I ever get along with out that machine?) I then stamped my sign post, cut it out, and pop dotted it onto my bag.

The little bunch of carrots stamp is from Artful Legacy too.

The little card is 4 x4 and the bunny is cut at 3 inches.

Enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by...if you have not "hopped" over to see Christine and Buck at Artful Legacy please do. They have some wonderful stamps that you will love.

Spring Chick!

I really am ready for spring. I can hardly wait and our warm temps today made my case of spring fever even worse. I made a tiny card today using the set Country Morning from Stampin Up. It is such a simple little card...but I love that chick and it did remind me of spring!

Thanks for stopping by my blog....feel free to leave me a message.

Birthday wishes....

Hey everyone....I needed to make a birthday card for a friend of mine and I had not used the cute Stampin Up set called "The more the merrier"...well this was a good day to try it out. Lots of really fun stamps in this set.
The inside of the card is from the Whimsical words set. I also used the tiny tag punch from Stampin Up and the stamp set that goes with it to do the very tiny "friends". I love that little punch and I know I am going to find a million things to use it for. Enjoy and as always thanks for looking

I'm so Lucky....

I have to admit I love St. Patty's Day. I think it has to do with the fact that it is my birthday, but still I do love it. I got these little stamps in the dollar bin at Michaels and thought they were fun. The "I'm so Lucky" is from Stampabilities. Thanks for looking...

Artful Legacy design team entries

Just a little Springtime card. Nothing too exciting but I am sure eager for Spring.

The carrot stamp is from Artful Legacy.

I couldn't enter without submitting a scrapbook page. I did this layout of my beautiful Granddaughter Kinsley's 1st birthday. I used my the DonJuan Cartridge for my cricut to cut the letters and the #1. The cupcake is from Doodlecharms. All these stamps were random birthday sayings that I had.

I have a very talented friend named Teri that aways makes the cutest little boxes for her cards. I wanted to try to do one...so this is my first attempt at a homemade box. Inside is six little note cards in cream and shades of pink. All occasion sayings from the stamp set Whimsical Words. I used a punch to decorate the edges of the cards and the envelopes.

The Running Princess

Every since Emily's marathon I have been dying to scrap some of the pictures I took of her at the race. I used a saying off the back of one of her running shirts...it is very appropriate too as she is the "Running Princess". The saying is "The race is my Ball...my running shoes are my glass slippers...the finish line is my prince charming....and the accomplishment is my happily ever after! Love that! I also stamped a quote from Bette Midler "Give a girl the correct footwear and she can conquer the world". Thanks for visiting my Blog.
