Sassy Cheryl challenge #89...I see the moon...

Hey all...I was so excited to do this challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's. It was to create a card that had some embossing on it. I have all these cute embossing plates and forget to use them. This was the perfect opportunity to pull them out and do something fun with them.
I love the little poem...I see the moon and the moon sees me...God bless the moon...God bless me. When I saw Cheryl's snowman image with the moon and stars, that is the first little saying I thought of. He was so much fun to color and I just cut out the moon and his nose from another image put some color in them and embossed them.
Thanks to Cheryl and her very talented design team for coming up with some fun challenges.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and come visit me again!

Show me Thursday...Sassy Cheryl's

Good Friday morning to all my crafty friends. It was such a good day yesterday...mainly because it was the first day of this week that I didn't have to be somewhere or have someone coming to the house. It has been a week of having some things done to the house and that is always a pain when you have to be here between 8:00 and "late" thirty! Why is it that they never show up on time! Anyway...enough of that.
I had fun yesterday finishing up some things and working on a card for the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge. I will post my card soon.
I finished all my favors for Thanksgiving and I am ready to go....I can't wait for the big day.
Thanks for stopping by and check back in soon...

A twisted Halloween!

Hey all...I could hardly wait to start scrapping some of the grand kids Halloween pictures. I was so excited to scrap Shelby's this year as she was a twister game. She looked so cute and way too grown up...but that is her Nanny's opinion! She did "rock" that twister dress though!
I was working on this layout and remembered we had about 4 twister games in the toy closet...so I used one of the spinner boards for the 2nd page. I loved the way it turned out.
Thanks for stopping by...I need to get busy...only about 100 more pictures to scrap.
Stop by again...

Sassy Cheryl's show me #48

My cute flip book I created this week.

Hey all...wow, I can't believe October is almost over. This month has gone so fast and it is one of my favorite times of the year. I love fall and all the goodies that go with it. It has been a busy week and I have been finishing up lots of projects just in time for Halloween. As you can see my desk has a little of everything going on. Also took some time out of crafting to make Caramel Corn for some of my favorite Trick or Treat goblins that will be over this weekend.
One of my projects this week was the flap book that I worked on...please go to the post on my blog and take a look. It was a fun project and I loved working on this.
Thanks for stopping by...and have a wonderful weekend.

Pumpkin Patch flap book...

Hey all...I have been working on this cute little "flap" book. It is 6 inches by 6 inches...until you unfold all the flaps...then you have lots of space for pictures and goodies.
I had so much fun putting this together...they are fast and easy peasy to do. I love the way it turned out.
Let me know if you want the directions for putting this together...I will be glad to share it with all of you.

You can see how each page has an extra piece that folds into the book.

Thinking about fall!

Another sweet image from Sassy Cheryl. Oh...I do love to color and Cheryl makes some fun images to color. I had a great time getting this little sweetie ready for fall. I even decorated the envelope with leaves from the new Stampin Up set.

Sassy Cheryl...Show Me #46

There is only one reason my scrap room is this clean...Company! I had to get it a little in order before my company came to visit. I love it when it is neat and tidy...so fun to mess it up then.
I did get a very cool antique box to use for my Copic Markers. I found it at one of my favorite shops when I was back home in Indiana. It works out great. I love anything that is old and can be used in a different way.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my favorite spot.

Pumpkin Time

A few more pumpkin pictures. Well...I took about 200 so I have plenty to scrap.
Kinsley loved the patch...but was wearing out buy the end of the adventure. I loved the picture of Grandpa carrying her back to the wagon. She was worn out!

A day at the patch

Hey all...hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was so fun and sooo busy. We had a friend from Indiana come visit, so it was a fun weekend.
I worked on some pages today and thought I would get them posted.
I could hardly wait to put these pumpkin pictures on a page. I love the fall and everything that goes with it. We always have so much fun taking the grand kids to the pumpkin patch.

More Halloween Treat bags...

Just a few more treat ideas. I used pretzel bags from Michael's for the candy corn bags. The digi stamps are from Bugaboo. Love them.
The skinny treat bags are from Stampin Up. So cute and so easy.
I covered a tin I had to stand them up in.
Thanks for stopping by...see you soon.

Halloween Treats....

Been trying to come up with a few new ideas for some fun Halloween Treat ideas. The little cylinders are made from paper towel rolls. I cut them at 2 1/2 inches and covered them with some cute scraps of paper. The top and bottom are just punches. I filled them with candy corn and I am hoping to make enough to put on a Halloween tree.
The fish bags are just bag toppers. I printed out on the computer the "o-fish-ally Halloween" sentiment. It was so easy and great for any occasion.
The little box it one I found at Michael's. I just used some Halloween scraps and decorated it.
Hope this inspires you to come up with some crafty Halloween treat ideas.

School Boy...

Good morning and happy Monday! It is a little rainy and dreary here so it is a good day to do some posting. I did this layout of my Grandson. He got to spend the night with us and it was a school day...so I had to take some pictures of one of his first weeks of Kindergarten. He loves school and he is still excited every morning to get up and go. I wonder how long that will last...
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Hat and shoes...

Hey all...happy Sunday. Hope all of you are having a great Sunday. It is a little gloomy here today so it has been a good afternoon to do a little crafting and a little posting. I got these cute templates from The Cutting Cafe. I have long been a fan of Regina Easter and she has a wonderful website called the Cutting Cafe. Lots of cute digi sayings and templates.
I made this matched set for the Halloween season. I mean every witch likes matching shoes and hat!

Thanks for stopping by and come see me soon.

A Fine Day!

Hey all..had a great rainy day cropping with friends. Worked on some cards and just enjoyed time with friends. Topped my day off with a great class at Inky digits. Taught by the super talented Jeni.
She taught us how to do the cutest and easiest book corners. A fun way to mark your page the old fashion way. You know when we used to read books on paper! Anyway....these are so fun and cute to make. Makes a great little gift for teachers and anyone else that loves handmade goodies.
Thanks Jeni...can't wait to make some of these for my Grand kids. They will be able to use them with their library books.
Over all this was ONE FINE DAY!

Lucky Me

I did this layout of my birthday this past March.  All my neighborhood friends took me out for lunch at my favorite place.  Had such a wonderful time and I am a lucky girl.
