Hat and shoes...

Hey all...happy Sunday. Hope all of you are having a great Sunday. It is a little gloomy here today so it has been a good afternoon to do a little crafting and a little posting. I got these cute templates from The Cutting Cafe. I have long been a fan of Regina Easter and she has a wonderful website called the Cutting Cafe. Lots of cute digi sayings and templates.
I made this matched set for the Halloween season. I mean every witch likes matching shoes and hat!

Thanks for stopping by and come see me soon.

A Fine Day!

Hey all..had a great rainy day cropping with friends. Worked on some cards and just enjoyed time with friends. Topped my day off with a great class at Inky digits. Taught by the super talented Jeni.
She taught us how to do the cutest and easiest book corners. A fun way to mark your page the old fashion way. You know when we used to read books on paper! Anyway....these are so fun and cute to make. Makes a great little gift for teachers and anyone else that loves handmade goodies.
Thanks Jeni...can't wait to make some of these for my Grand kids. They will be able to use them with their library books.
Over all this was ONE FINE DAY!

I just had to try to get this little candy corn girl finished. She is so darn cute.

Lucky Me

I did this layout of my birthday this past March.  All my neighborhood friends took me out for lunch at my favorite place.  Had such a wonderful time and I am a lucky girl.

Weekend fun...cropping!

Such a fun weekend.  Cropped all day on Friday and Grand kids on Saturday.  Lots of beach time and a beautiful weekend of September "beach" weather.
I got 4 layouts done on Friday, that is a lot for me cause we do a lot of talking and EATING!
Wanted to post some of the layouts I got done.
Thanks for stopping by...

A little Halloween...

Had some fun doing a couple Halloween cards yesterday.  I love the new stamps I got.  The first two are from Archivers and the last one is a new one from Stampin Up.  Enjoy and have a great Labor Day Weekend.

Sassy Cheryl's show me #40!

Have to admit I had to clean before I snapped a picture.  It has been a crazy week and I was knee deep in papers and ribbons.  As I said in a previous post the walls were starting to close in on me in my scrap room and it was time for some serious purging.  I was afraid that the TV Show about Hoarding was going to show up and start filming.  Yes, it was that bad!
I started a couple of weeks ago going though paper, ribbons, stickers, and anything I was not using or planning on using and getting rid of it.  I am going to have a massive scrap book room sale and whatever I don't get rid of is getting donated to a preschool back home.  I am sure those kids can do something wonderful with all those goodies!
Stop over at Sassy Cheryl's and take a look at all the new images she has created.  They are amazing as always! Stop back and see me soon...I have missed you all!

Cute as can bee!

Greg and I took all four of the grand kids to Indiana for a family wedding in July. We had such and great time and I remembered what it was like getting everyone all dressed up at once. What a job! It brought back memories of getting my three ready for church and by the time we were in the car...I felt like I was a mess!
The kids were great though and the flight was good...so over all it was a huge success. I told them it was a test...if Grandpa and I could do this...we could do Disney with just the four of them!
Needless to say they passed the test! Is is wrong to think I have perfect Grand babies!

Thanks for stopping by...have a wonderful day!

Where do I start?

Bits and pieces of paper that I just can't throw away!
My new and improved scrap box...my oh my that was a job!

Golly gee it has been awhile again. This summer has gone by so fast and it seems we have been away from the beach more than we have been here. I am glad to say I am home for a while and trying to enjoy the start of our fall weather.
Last week Nasty Irene brushed by us and messed up our weekend. Luckily we had no damage and we got lots of much needed rain. My heart goes out to all of the people on the east coast still dealing with her aftermath.
I stayed in during those days and ate my nonperishable cookies I baked and everything else that was in the house. I did a little crafting but mostly cleaned my scrap area. The walls are starting to close in on me with too much STUFF!
With the help of my scrapping buddies I organized my scraps the week before. They were here cropping and I decided I was going through my scraps while they cropped. I think they thought I would never get through that mess so they helped. Don't you just love friends like that!
That being said I made all kinds of cards this week out of my scraps. No new sheet of paper was harmed while doing these crafts!
Enjoy and stop back and see me soon,
Betty
