The Simplest of Gifts color me challenge...

Welcome and take a look at one of Sassy Cheryl's new images. This little girl is one of the sweetest I have ever seen. Such a wonderful image and makes you stop and think about this holiday season. Thank you Cheryl for another beautiful Digi Stamp.

Love & Joy...day 6!

Good morning and happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and holiday weekend. It was certainly busy around here. Family...decorating...a little crafting and brunch at High Cotton in Charleston. Whew...no wonder I was tired last night.

Back to normal today though and I have a whole "to do" list laying on the counter looking at me, so I am going to see how many things I can check off that list.

First on the list is post day 6!

This is some of last years Christmas pictures...no they are not all scrapped yet. I used the Winter Woodland cartridge. Love those snowflakes on that Cart. I wasn't sure I liked the layout but I do love the pictures, so that makes it a little better.

Enjoy your day and stop and see me later. I will be posting something for the Sassy Cheryl Challenge later.

Blessings...

Holiday wishes....day 5

Yes I know I missed a day....exhaustion finally caught up with me and after doing a little shopping yesterday and some decorating...I knew I didn't have the energy to blog anything!

I made these two cards from images I got from Sassy Cheryl. This little cappuccino snowman is just about the cutest guy I have seen. He was fun to color...and the card was quick and easy.

The "Charlie Brown " tree is one of Cheryl's designs too. She is one talented lady. Check out her website she has new designs each week and lots of fun challenges.

Thanks for stopping by and next week I will be back at it.

Have a good evening.

Happy Thanksgiving...day 4

My Thanksgiving Centerpiece....

Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving. What a wonderful holiday to remember all of our blessings. Table is set and food is cooking. The house smells great and I can hardly wait for all the kids to get here and the fun to begin. Of course tonight will be a different story...I will be exhausted...but a good exhausted.

I made these little place cards for my table. I know it is really not a Christmas craft...but it will work for any holiday. I used the Stampin Up Top Note die for the top. I just printed every ones name off on the computer and added a couple of punches. So easy to do on this very busy day.

So very thankful for Family...Friends...and all my extended crafting family.

Love and Blessings to all.

Tin and Note pad...day 3

Good morning and happy day before Thanksgiving. I love this day...I usually spend it getting the house ready for company and then start all the cooking process. I do love to cook and this day is a fun excuse to spend the day in my kitchen.

I made this easy peasy little tin and note pad for a holiday hostess gift. Found these little tins at World Market and just put some printed paper around it with a stamp...topped it off with a snow flake from my Cricut. The stamps were all from Stampin Up. The little notepad is from Michael's and covered it with some card stock.

This is such a nice little gift for someone who has done something special for you.

Thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.

Christmas Note cards....Day 2...if your counting!

On the second day of Christmas...well no turtle doves...but I did make some cute little note cards. These little cuties are 3 by 3. The paper is from Graphic 45 Christmas Past 8 by 8 pack. I love that paper. Beautiful little prints that work great for these cards. I didn't do my own envelopes this time...I had some on hand from Paper trey Ink.

The stamps I used were a little bit of everything. I used...Got Treats and Christmas Punch from Stampin Up and Good Cheer from Technique Tuesday.

The box I made is cut at 6 1/2 by 6 1/2 and scored at 1 1/4 on all sides. I loved the way it turned out. I did several of these for little gifts.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you'll come back tomorrow.

Have a great day!

Advent Calender...1st day of Christmas

Hey all...and welcome to my version of the Twelve Days of Christmas.

I decided I was going to make myself create and post something for 12 days and I thought what better way to do that then to do the whole Christmas theme.

I have to say I love the way my advent calenders turned out...the only thing I didn't like was making 3 of them. I did one for each of the grand kids families....so did one for Syd and Shel...and one for Deegs and Kins. I made one for myself...and by that time I was really really really tired of the whole thing.

I did get a little smarter as I got to the 3rd one...the first two I cut my numbers on my Cricut and then had to glue them all on. That was not the best idea. Then last night about 11:00 I thought...wow...maybe I should just print the numbers out on the computer and punch them out. That would have been a great idea about 3 days ago. Oh well...live and learn. They are done and I can give them to the kids on Thanksgiving, just in time for the countdown to start.

I found the boxes at Hobby Lobby half off...yippee...I love a deal.

Enjoy and leave me a comment if you have any questions.

Hey all...Over at Sassy Cheryl's they do this fun little thing where you show them what is on your desk that you are working on. Boy O Boy...that is a challenge.

What desk are you talking about? First I need to find the bottom of one so I can take a picture. I worked all last week on some projects that I want to use to start my 12 days of Christmas Blog posts. Cards for my Little Turkeys...

Well..my grandson came over on Saturday and ask me if I was making him and his sister a card. He had seen some different cards on my work table that I had been working on...he then proceeded to tell me that he liked the ones with candy in. Nothing like special order cards...He is a little sugar bug and loves candy, so I couldn't not make all my little "turkeys" an early Thanksgiving card.

I cut the turkey at 5 inches from the Stretch Your Imagination Cartridge. I used the 1 3/4 circle punch from Stampin Up. It is the perfect fit with the Stampin Up candy cups.

Enjoy the cards and hope to see you soon,

Jumping Jack Santa...Color Me Contest

Good Morning all...and happy Monday. It is a beautiful day in South Carolina...we are getting a few more days of 70's before some cool weather comes in. I love this time of year...warm days and chilly nights..perfect!

I think maybe that was my inspiration for this cute Jumping Jack Santa from Sassy Cheryl. I just can't seem to put away those fall colors. I liked this Santa in his woodsy colors...of course he will change before the big day and put on the usual red suit. For any of you that have not checked out Sassy Cheryl's website...please do. She offers some wonderful images to download and color. So fun..who doesn't love to color!

Thank you Cheryl for another great image to color.

Thank you all for stopping by and come back soon.

Have a wonderful day...

Blessings,

Betty

Sassy Cheryl Challenge #37

After I got these cards made I got on Sassy Cheryl's site and realized they were having a challenge using ribbon or Tulle...well that is a fun challenge cause it seems I usually have a little ribbon on everything....so decided to join the fun and join the challenge. Enjoy!

Snowman Parts...just a cute image...simple card...on the inside it says "Snowflakes are just unassembled snowmen."

After last nights class I decided to do a little coloring. I love Cheryl's designs. So very sassy and so fun to color! I mean who doesn't love to color!

I got out the Copic's and had some fun. This morning I made a couple of cards with them. The little saying on the gift image is from Paper Trey Ink. Please enjoy and stop back soon.

Too cute to spook....

Last one of the night...I think. I couldn't bring myself to use orange and black with Kinner's cute little Halloween watermelon outfit. She really was too cute to spook. All she really cared about was the suckers. We bribed her with a sucker so she would leave the hat on.

enjoy...hope to see you tomorrow!

No tricks just treats

I did this layout a couple of weeks ago..and thought it would work great for Deegan's Halloween pictures. The color of his construction vest and hat was great with the orange and black paper.
I still need to do some journaling...but at least there are pictures on a page! Yipee!

Holiday cards....

A close up of that cute little gingerbread man! Inked him up and he looks just right!

Made three holiday cards for a class tomorrow night. Used my cricut and some stamps I had on hand and came up with some sweet cards. The gingerbread man came

from the Kitchen cartridge...the snowman came from Speaking of Winter. The stamps are from Stampin Up and Paper trey ink. Can't wait to do some more Christmas things.

Enjoy and have a great day...come back soon...Christmas time is comin!

Blessings...

Are you a good witch or a bad witch?

Miss Sydney was a witch this year...Good or Bad she is a cutie! I used the Halloween paper pack from My Minds Eye. That wonderful witch is cut at 5 inches from the October 31st cartridge. I didn't add a lot of other embellishments to these pages...I wanted the pictures to stand out. Hope you enjoy....

Wicked

Good morning all...posting a couple of the layouts I did this week. This one is Shelby's layout...the font I used is from Lyrical letters. I cut both the web and the tree from October 31st. I think they were both cut at 6 inches. The printed papers are from My Minds Eye...scary sparkles Halloween pack. That pack of paper has some beautiful paper in it.

If you have any questions or comments...leave me a note. Would love to hear from you.

Holiday Layout

Hey all...good morning! I am so excited today. I scrapped yesterday most of the day and had such a productive day. I actually got 4 layouts done and a couple of cards made. It was a fun cropping day with some of my friends and then finished it off with a class at night. Love those kind of days!

Wanted to share some of my layouts I did yesterday. I am starting with a Holiday layout with pictures from last Christmas...yes I still have a lot of those to crop!

I bought this beautiful paper from Archivers. The very cool kraft paper comes from a company called Canvas Corp. It is fun to work with and love those natural colors.

The Holly cut came from the Joy's of Season Cricut Cartridge. Last but not least..the embossing folder is from the Tim Holtz collection. I have to say...I love it. I just inked over the top of it and everything just popped!

Of course the pictures are all of my beautiful grand babies...they were visiting Santa at Bass Pro Shop!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.

Hugs to all...

For this I am Thankful...

Good morning...wanted to share a layout with you that I am teaching tonight. I love this title because you can use it for some many different occasions. I did it in kind of fall colors...but not really fall paper.

The font I used is from the Winter Woodlands cart. The large scallop is from that cart also. I cut the circle at 10 1/2 inches. Everything is inked. I will probably add some more goodies to these pages once I get my pictures on. Hope you enjoy...and thanks for stopping by.

Have a great Wednesday.

Blessings...
