Life's a Picnic....

Hello all....hope you all are having a great day. I have to say I love this little watermelon card I did this weekend. I used the Artful Legacy stamp...Life's a Picnic...eat Hearty. I love that stamp and it is perfect to use on your summer cards and great for a cut summer scrapbook layout.

I used my Cricut (as usual) and cut the fishing basket from everyday paper doll. It is one of the accessories on the fishing boy. I cut it at 4 inches real size. Make sure you use real size or you get a little basket! I cut 2 of them and put them back to back...I adhered the sides and the bottom to make a pocket for my card.

The watermelon is cut at 3 inches from the Doodlecharm Cart. I put a small piece of card stock on the bottom to place inside the basket and big enough to stamp on.

The grass is from Martha Stewart and so is the lady bug punch.

The tiny tag and the ribbon is from Stampin Up.

Thanks for looking and leave me a note anytime you have a question or a comment.

Flower Pot pullout card

hello all...I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We had a nice rainy Sunday at the beach yesterday...so I spent most of the day playing up in my scrap room.

I saw a card online that was a flower pot with flowers coming out of it. I decided I could do all of the card on my Cricut. It was easy peasy....I cut the pot from the Walk in my Garden cart at 4 inches....just cut 2 of them and put them back to back. Adhere just the sides and the bottom so you have a pocket on the top.

For the inside of the card and the flowers I took a half circle and attached it to a piece of card stock that would slide down in to the pot. The half circle should be sticking out of the pot so you can add your flowers to it.

I covered the half circle with flowers cut from Sweet Treats Cartridge...by the way...I love that cart. The flowers from that cartridge are so much fun to stack and mix and match. I cut the flowers at 1 1/2 and 2 inches....and a couple of 3 inch ones. After decorating it I just stamped and added some ribbon to the card part and put it all together. Trust me...this is easy peasy...and you will love the finished result!

Have a great day and check back later...I am on a roll with these cards and I am trying some different designs. As always....if you have any questions on this card or anything else you see on my blog please feel free to leave me a comment and I will get back to you.

Dragonfly Dreams

Happy Wednesday...hope everyone is having a good day. We are finally getting some much needed rain at the beach today. Hopefully it is washing all the nasty pollen away and we will all be able to breath a little easier after the shower.

I did a couple of cards this week using Artful legacy's Dragonfly stamps. They are such cute stamps and perfect for thank you cards or thinking of you cards.

The small card is cut at 4 inches from the Cricut Cartridge Walk in My Garden. I used the card feature and popped up the watering can. I stamped the dragonfly with brown ink and used the Dragonfly Wishes stamp on the inside.

On the long card I used the Definition Dragonfly Stamp. Also used used the Dragonfly Wishes on the inside of the card.

Hope you all enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

You and Me...

Everyone always tells Emily and me how much we look alike. I don't always see it...but in these pictures I sure did. I had a hard time with a title and came up with "Just alike only different"! I always tell her she is the younger, taller, skinnier, version of me. I loved these pictures of us that were taken on Easter Sunday....so I thought this was a good time to do a layout of just the two of us.

The You and Me came from the Don Juan Cricut cartridge and the other letters are Lyrical Letters. I used Stampin Up stamps on this page....the Define your life...Itty Bitty Backgrounds and Smarty Pants.

Thanks for visiting...love to hear from you.

Have a wonderful day!

Playin in the dirt

Hey all...I have been on a bit of a role as far as my scrapping goes. I actually have gotten some layouts done and even started to journal on them. That means they are heading to a book soon!

I did this layout of my Grandson Deegan...he spent the afternoon with me and we did some planting. He was so much fun and such a big help! I used the definition stamps from Stampin up....The carts I used for the letters were Printing Press and Don Juan. Pretty simple...but made some great memories that day!

Thanks for stopping by.

Summer Fun

Good Morning all....time once again for an Artful Legacy page. I love this picture of Kinsley. It was taken last summer and she looks like such a beach baby. I didn't really use beach paper...so I added some of the Artful Legacy beach stamps to my layout.

This week I used the Carolina Girl Stamp, Life's a Beach, and the Best thing under the sun.

The definition stamp comes from Stampin Up. I used my Cricut Cartridge Designers Calender to cut Summer. It was actually Summer Vacation and I just cut the Vacation off. Fun is some chipboard letters I had. I love it when I can use something from my stash. I inked all the edges of the papers with brown ink.

Hope you all have a great day and stop back by and see me.

Bee Happy...

Good morning all...hope you are all having a great day. It is Wednesday already and that means Artful Legacy. This week Christine sent me some really cute Bee and Dragonfly stamps. I didn't get a chance to use the dragonfly yet...but had some fun with the One in a Buzzillion Stamp and the Dotted background stamp. I do love those dots.

On this layout of Sydney I used my Cricut Pooh Cartridge for the honey bee's. Had lots of fun with this one cause Sydney's outfit matched those bees perfect. Did I buy that cute little outfit because of that?? Oh come on...you all know scrappers buy paper to match outfits. Well at least I have done it a time or two!

Have a good day and thanks for stopping by.

He still makes me laugh...

Happy Easter....a little late. I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter. We did and enjoyed spending time with family. It was beautiful in the south and we spent most of the day outside.

Emily took some pictures of Greg and I and I thought maybe they would be fun to scrap. As always...I used my Cricut and did the letters and the arrows. Did just a little stamping...but best of all...I did this layout in about an hour. I really wish I could do that all the time...I would not have boxes of pictures laying around waiting to scrap. I need to move a little faster and be a little more motivated to get pictures on a page!

Enjoy and thanks for stopping by. Oh...and he really does still make me laugh!!
