Christmas Photo Op....

Finally, I am back to scrapping again. I have had such a scrappers block lately. Just not feeling like doing much of anything. Hopefully, doing this layout of my Granddaughters will get me out of the scrapper blues.

I used the holly cut from Joys of the Season Cartridge...cut at 3 inches. The Christmas is also from JOS. The words Photo Op are cut from Don Juan.

That beautiful paper is from Graphic 45. It is called Carol of the Bells. It is a gorgeous double sided paper.

This card I made from the cutest Hostess set ever from Stampin Up. I love love love that Santa postage stamp. It looks cute in any color and makes such an easy card.

Christmas is coming...

Where did November go...I can't believe we are getting ready for the holidays already. The house is almost decorated and now the shopping can start.

I did a fun card from my new stamping up stamps. Some of the new holiday ones are soooo cute.
The snow man was made with the Simple Seasonal Thanks stamp. I just cut the thanks part out and saved it so I can use it when I need too..but in the mean time this little snow man makes the cutest card using the candy cups from Stampin Up.

Please enjoy and let me know what you think.

OK....I know this is not a new idea...but I just love this little stamp from Stampin Up. I bought way to many candy bars from my granddaughter for her school fundraiser and I needed to do something with them QUICK so I didn't eat them. This is such a fun and easy was to dress up those goodies we will all be handing out in the next couple of weeks.

Witch's Hat Card...

Today I did a cute little witch's hat card from a pattern I got from Scrapbooks etc. I love that Magazine, and I always find the cutest patterns and ideas from them.

I did the hat from black card stock and placed it on a fold so the whole hat was the card. I then cut the top of the hat from a scrap of printed paper. My spider is a sizzix dye and I embossed him with my cuttlebug and the spider wed embossing folder. The little buckle is cut from the Fabulous Finds Cartridge...it is cut at 3/4 inch. I printed the saying on my computer. I love that line....and some days it is so true!

I am taking this little card to Indiana next week and teaching it to a bunch of good...good...friends that have been my scrapping buddies for years. I can't wait!

Well..I have had quit a morning....I did a local cooking show this morning...so much fun. Just a couple of minutes...but lots of fun. Cecil came to my home and filmed for the local "Cooking with Cecil" Show.. Probably the closest I will ever get to be a "Martha....Paula...or a Rachel Ray".

I have enough Crustless Pumpkin Pie made to feed a small army. Not a bad way to start the day...eating pie!
Of course being a scrapbooker....All I can think about is what a cute layout this will make!

I won!

Have you ever been having a not so good day and all of the sudden something happens to make you feel soooo good? Well that is what happened today. I learned that I won one of the prizes on the "Bitten by the Bug" contest. I am so darn excited I can hardly stand it.
I feel so honored to be a winner among all those beautiful cards. I can hardly wait to get my hands on those darling vintage prints from Peggy. I know I am going to have lots of fun creating cards with those.
Thank you to Regina and Peggy....You have made my day.
Blessings to all,

Sweet Summer Fun

OK...I will admit that I buy Sydney outfits to match scrapbook paper. I loved this layout with her green and red summer top. She still loves to have her picture taken...so it is easy to come up with lots of layouts of her. I used my cricut for the letters and the melon. I also put some green rickrack between the layers of the melon...

BBTB Contest entry...Christmas memories

This is my second attempt for the BBTB Contest. I love these vintage cards. They are so much fun to work with.

I used a 5 by 7 card...added some striped Christmas paper. I cut the bottom of the red card stock with a Fiskars punch. I cut the snowflakes from my winter wonderland cartridge... at 1 inch.....inked the edges and added some ribbon. Done!

BBTB Contest...love you...to the moon and back.

Well today I decided to try to enter one of the wonderful contest that Regina offers on her Blog...Bitten by the Bug. I have never entered one of the contest, but I couldn't resist these darling vintage prints from Peggy loves vintage.

They are so cute and so much fun to work with....so I found a little vintage print in my stash of millions of papers...and used my cricut to cut the card from the Wild Card Cartridge.

I cut the card at 5 1/2 inches from my printed paper...then cut another one at 5 inches so I could use the solid blue to make a mat for my window.

The moon and stars are both cut from the New Arrival cartridge. I inked the edges of everything and that is about all. I hope you enjoy and please check out Bitten by the bug if you have not visited yet.

Halloween cards....

It's finally Friday...yay! I am getting together this evening with 3 scrapping friends and we are cropping for a few hours. Can't wait. I worked on Halloween cards last night and kind of got stuck on one stamp...but I love it, so I just worked on several witch's shoes. Can't decide "witch" is my favorite.

A Blue Star Day...

What a wonderful day. My friend Jeanne is a Blue Star Mom...she has a son retired from the military and a grandson going in...so she has been through it all. She works so hard for the local Blue Star organization...making cards and selling them for funds to use for soldier's goodie boxes.

Today instead of our usual Wednesday morning crop we helped her make cards to sell. We did Sixty cards in about 4 hours. That of course allowed for lunch! It was so little for us to do...but Jeanne was so excited. I hope we did some good today! Thank you to all our soldiers...
Good morning all...it is going to be a beautiful fall day in South Carolina. I do love this time of year. Cool in the mornings and warm and sunny in the afternoon. Well, enough of my weather talk....today is going to be a fun day! A group of friends are coming over this morning and we are doing cards for soldiers. My friend Jeanne is a Blue Star Mom and they sell them for a fundraiser. I will post some of our creations later today. Hope all have a wonderful day....come back and see me soon!

What would we do without girlfriends?

When six friends came to the beach for a long week-end we remembered what is really important in our lives...family...and girlfriends!

New 2 School!

I did this layout for the bitten by the bug contest. I used Locker Talk to cut the school desk and My Communtiy to cut the pencil. It was fun to do a layout of Sydney's grandparent's day. Thanks for looking....

Well...as you can see...my keeping up with a blog could be interesting. It has been a very busy summer. After lots of company and traveling I am trying to get back to my scrap booking and card making. I have done a few pages of the grand kids (of course) but getting them posted seems to be my problem. My new resolution is to make it and post it! We'll see how that goes.
Thank you for being patient...and I promise to do better!

Good Morning....this is my very first post on my very new blog. I am so new to this...but it is something I really thought would be fun. I can't wait to share my thoughts...such as they are, and share some of my creations.
Please be patient with me while I go through the "blog learning" process.
Keep in touch!
