Teapot card and Sprout!

Two more cards that I did yesterday.

The little teapot is cut from A Child's Year cartridge. I cut it on the tag feature at 5 inches. The stamp set is a Stampin Up set called A morning Cup.

The other card is an image from Mo Manning. Isn't she sweet. Her name is sprout and she is just about the cutest little thing.

I added a sizzix die cut picket fence and a watering can from my Walk in my Garden cartridge.

The stamp is a Stampin Up stamp from the Word Play set.

Thanks for stopping by today. I am going to do a little crafting then pack for my trip to KY. Heading there with Greg and to take a Copic Marker class. Should be lots of fun!

See you soon...

Betty

Whooo loves you?

Well...last night was stamp club and as always I come home so inspired by these talented ladies. This is one of the cards I took for show and share. I can't wait to get busy today and try some of the cute ideas I saw last night. This sweet little Owl comes from the Stampin Up set Punch a Bunch. I used him with some Minds eye paper and ribbon from Stampin Up. The sentiment comes from Stampin Up also...the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.

Another Punch a Bunch stamp. That is a great stamp set!

This tiny little guy is one of the sweet birds from the Avery set.

Enjoy and stop back and see me.

Welcome Christmas layout

So...I am still working on Christmas pages and I will be working on Christmas pages until next Christmas. I did this one with some paper I found at Hobby Lobby...plus some scraps from my old Creative memories days and a little piece from Stampin Up. It is amazing what you can find if you dig! The welcome is from the Cherry Limeade cart...the Christmas is from Beyond Birthdays and the little house it cut at 5 inches from Winter Woodlands. The large scallop is from Storybook...I think it is cut at 10 inches.

Thanks from stopping by and come back soon.
hugs...

When I saw this sweet little face from Sassy Cheryl I knew I had to color her. She is just precious. I used my Copic Markers and the ribbon is from Stampin UP.

Unconventional Valentine.

Well, anyone who knows my husband knows how much he loves his Boilermakers... So, I decided to use one of Sassy Cheryl's images and turn her into a little Boiler girl....sporting her black and gold. I loved the way she turned out.
I used my Copics to color her and the black and cream ribbon is from Stampin Up.
Thanks for stopping by and see you soon.

Show me Thursday and last Thursday too!

So I have to admit that I had to do a little cleaning before I could even get to my desk this week. I had way too many projects going on and I had not picked up my toys before getting something else out. So...I did a little cleaning....a little scrapping....and a little card making. I think I have all my goodies ready for my little Valentines and for My big Valentine.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my space.
Then check out what I was doing last Thursday. It was a pretty fun adventure.
Hugs...
Betty

Finally can see my desk...that was a major accomplishment this week!
The stack of pictures that need to be scrapped. That is just holiday pictures....I will never catch up!

yip....Last Thursday Greg and I were in Costa Rica and we did a Zip line through the Rain Forest. It was so fun and I was so glad we did it....Yes it was a little scary but so worth it. Ten runs down the mountian. So cool!

I can check this off my bucket list....

Boiler Weekend...

So...in honor of my Boilermakers beating the Hoosiers this week...I scrapped some pictures of a weekend with friends at the Boilermaker Classic. Every year we meet up in Indiana for a great weekend of basketball....food...and good friends. It is always so fun and I wanted to get these scrapped before the pictures got lost in the never ending picture pile.
Carts I used were Winter Woodland for the background on Boiler Up,
Storybook for the background on Back home again,
Base Camp font and Cherry Limeade font. The big b is a chipboard that I covered.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day...it is almost the weekend...YIPPEE!
Hugs...

New Jammies

Hey all...I am back safe and sound from my big adventure in Costa Rica. We had such a great time...but I was so glad to be home. Dorothy said it best..."there is no place like home".
I did a few layouts before I left and never had a chance to get them posted....so trying to catch up today.
I did this one of the grand kids on Christmas Eve...everyone sporting their new jammies. That is the best part of the evening for Greg and I....getting to change into PJ's and enjoy all the chaos!
I love this paper. It is from the stack Homemade Christmas by DCWV. It has so many great papers for Christmas.
Thanks for stopping by and I will be busy all week scrapping. I have lots to catch up on.
See you soon,
Betty

How sweet!

So...I get home from Costa Rica last night at midnight and of course I can't wait to check my blog. Being out of the country is not easy for a person who likes to be able to check things out on a daily basis! Anyway....my Sweet friend Linda from http://www.turtleinthesand.blogspot.com left me a blog award. That was the nicest thing to come home too. It works like this.

She listed my blog as one she looks at often...but I don't have a lot of "blog groupies" as my husband calls them. So in return I will list 3 of some of my favs that I think everyone should be following. Sounds fun. The three I listed are always fun to check out and they are some talented ladies...so pop over and take a look.

Thank you Linda...and thanks everyone who stops by.

PS....I am so glad to be home!
And it took me a week to figure out how to link these blogs for you. Jeez...
Betty

This award however is slightly different from the usual awards you see. This award is to showcase some of the not-so-well-known blogs. We have some talented crafters out there and this is one way for you to find new and interesting blogs. All I have to do is nominate three to five blogs I read and want others to get to know .

If I tag you and you want to participate, create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image. You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award. You can then choose 3 - 5 favorite blogs which you also link in your post, then each blogger will inform you that they have been tagged

Special Note from the Originator:

Dear bloggers:

The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so I would ask you not to blog fellow bloggers that already have 3,000 followers.

I follow so many blogs , but I chose 3 that I think deserve more followers than they have, because in my opinion they make stunning - yes stunning cards...Please pop over and show them some love - honestly I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

In no particular order:
