Scrapping buddy....

Pretty quiet here today so just me and Boomer hangin out in the scrap room.

He is a good scrap buddy when he is not trying to chew up paper or a marker. Those days I think are over...he is growing up...at least for today!

A Christmas Chat...

Hey all...I hope you all are staying dry today. It is so nasty out and that means one thing....it is a good day to scrap. I always think of these rainy southern days as my northern snow days. Anyway...it is just a good day to stay inside and do a little scrapping.

I did this layout over the weekend. Of course I still have a bunch of Christmas pictures to scrap, so at least I got a few of them scrapped.

I used the Christmas Noel solutions cartridge to cut the Santa. I think he is cut at 5 inches. The holly is cut from Joys of the Season and the Font is from Winter Woodland. The stamp is from Stampin Up...it is the Bells & Boughs set.

Thank you again for stopped by. I plan to be here all day...so stop by again.

Stay dry!

Dinner Out...

This is one of the layouts I did over the weekend. I was dying to use my new Block Party Cartridge, so this was the perfect layout for it. I had some really cute pictures of the grand kids and Greg cooking out in the back yard and I came up with the title because we gave them the option of going out for dinner to a restaurant or "out" in the back yard and you can see what won out. It was a perfect evening for "dinner out".

I cut the hamburger at 3 inches...and the pie and hot dog at 2 1/2. The font is from Don Juan and cut at 2 inches and 3 in. for the word OUT. The ribbon and stamp are both from Stampin up The stamp set is define your life.

Gotta say I love that Cartridge and I know I will use it a lot. Lots of fun cuts on it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.

Halloween paint can

Good Morning and happy Monday!

What a fun weekend I had...scrapping with great friends all weekend! Got lots of things done and will be posting things all week long.

I am sharing my Halloween Paint can first...I used the October 31 Cricut cartridge...and I love everything on it. Such a great cart if you love Halloween as I do.

I cut the Witch and the House at 5 inches...the bats were at 2 and the cat was at 3 inches. The big spider web on the top of the can is from Paper Dolls. The "got treats" stamp are Stampin Up and the Candy stamp is from Archivers. I used some other little random stamps too...that I had on hand.

Thanks from stopping by and come back soon...I have a stack of layouts I am posting this week.

Have a great Monday and a wonderful week!

Sister are you looking today?

I always get lots of comments from my beautiful sister Jane about my blog. Oh, she doesn't leave me comments on here...she maintains that since she has my phone # she can call and ask her questions about a project or complain that I have not posted anything all week. She is my best friend and my biggest fan. She actually thinks I have some talent...and tells way too many people that. The bad thing is we are 900 miles away from each other so our scrap time together is rare.

Yesterday I made her a little goodie bag to send to her back in Indiana. I can't wait to get the comments on this one...

I made the topper with kraft paper and used the new Cricut cart from Walmart called Lovely Floral to cut the Scrap Queen. The scissors where cut from Locker Talk. The two stamps...one is from Stampin Up and the card stock and coffee stamp is from Paper Trey Inc.

Hope you enjoy the topper idea and thanks for stopping by....And Jane...I love you and miss you and thanks for keeping me on task.

Happy Friday!

Got Treats....

Good morning to all. I did a couple of cards for a workshop that I had last night. I used the Got Treats stamp set from Stampin Up. Such a cute set and soooo fun to use. We did the Got Treats card for our make-n-take last night, but I couldn't resist making a little gingerbread Christmas card too. If you take a close look at the "got merry" card you can see the little pink rickrack...this is cut from the Stampin Up Sizzix die Tasteful trim. If you have not seen this Big Shot die...take a look. It is a great die.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you all soon.
